Polyester strapping

The light weight, high break strength and thermal tolerance of polyester strapping ensures that it maintains sufficient retained tension, even in extreme conditions, and holds your products securely. Available in core diameter of 406mm various widths and thicknesses, it will not stain the pack and is an ideal substitute for steel strapping still used for many applications.

Polypropylene strapping

Available in core diameter of 200mm and a wide range of widths and thicknesses, polypropylene strapping provides economical, high performance strapping for light, medium and some heavy duty use in a variety of applications.

For boxing food products, produce, fish, chicken, meat, etc.
Ideal for bundling corrugated boxes, newspapers, magazines and cut paper

Steel strapping

Steel strapping is the strongest of all strapping materials, recommended where high strength is necessary, such as for steel, bricks or concrete. Although the advent of polyester and polypropylene strapping has resulted in a decline in the market for steel strapping, there are numerous applications where steel is the preferred alternative.

We supply both regular and high tensile steel strapping, together with seals and buckles.

Corded strapping

Corded strapping and tying materials are manufactured from RAYON and POLYESTER yarn. Rayon TYTAPE is a hand tying material and the PACKORD brand, also made from Rayon, is a flat strapping product used to secure palletised or large products.

Corded POLYESTER strapping is a strong and safe material used in a variety of applications including securing compressed waste materials in baling machines, where the product is known as BALESTRAP and securing large products such as drums or awkward palletised products where the strap is used in conjunction with heavy duty steel buckles which allow it to be re-tensioned should the product settle or move.

Plastic strapping

Plastic strapping covers a wide variety of pack needs from lightweight plastic strap (polyproplyne) which is traditionally used for products such as cardboard cartons and bundles of magazines up to the heavyweight modern polyester grades used for construction productions.

Hand tools

For hand-strapping of packages, we offer the FROMM range of manual tools for use with steel strapping and battery-powered tools to heat-seal plastic strapping. Fromm hand tools are of superb build quality and give years of trouble-free use.
