This is a standard RQ-8 machine fitted with a horizontal pneumatic press used to compress printed materials prior to strapping. The press is controlled manually through a two-handed start sequence designed as a safety measure to ensure hands are kept clear of the press plate action. The machine can be supplied with an air compressor if no factory air supply is available.
