Strapping, wrapping and hooding systems
Semi-automatic strapping machines can either strap individual packs or palletized goods (Pallet Strappers). They apply either a vertical or a horizontal strap around a pack or pallet. In some cases, packs or pallets are strapped vertically as well as horizontally.
Many of our machines are available ex-stock, and we have large supplies of strap and stretch film ex-stock. Provided we receive your order within the next few days, there is still time to deliver before Christmas!
Lyndex Recycling Systems, based in Telford, have supplied a Twin Ram Baler to Peak Waste in Ashbourne. The baler features the OMS TR19 HT Plastic Strapping Head which was supplied and commissioned by Gordian Strapping, the sole OMS distributor in the UK.

Supreme had been using a heat tunnel to shrink several packs together prior to packing them on pallets for shipment. However, the shrink film was bonding to the packs, meaning that when customers tried to remove the outer packaging, they were inadvertently damaging the bags.
